Haitral car bed reviewI have not personally tested the Haitral car mattress so please take everything that I’m about to say with a grain of salt. I have done hours of extensive research on the subject, and compiled it in addition to feedback from readers such as yourself. If you have any particular feedback about this mattress, you think that I should not be recommending it, or you think that I should be ranking at higher on my list, please reach out to me by the contact page.

On the surface, it seems pretty similar to the generic midsized backseat bed. The manufacturer, Haitral claims that this bed can withstand the force of 300 kg, which is over 600 pounds. I am skeptical about this so your mileage might vary. I think that they might be mixing up pounds and kilograms, and the final capacity is actually 300 pounds, which seems more in line with similar products.

The Haitral also seems a little bit smaller than other similarly priced models like the Drive Travel and the FB Sport which can be a double-edged sword. If you have a smaller sized sedan, and the other models seem to large for your backseat (always make sure to measure before making any purchases), then this might be right for you. However, if you have a larger sized SUV, then you might be leaving a few valuable inches on the table, which will ultimately impact your quality of sleep hygeine and restfulness while on a long road trip.

I like that this comes in 4 different color options, although they are pretty similar and do not extend past the typical grays and blues that I find boring after a while. I wish that they would offer something more eye-popping, like the Fb Sport’s amazing orange color. I think that this is still a relatively brand new company, so I hope that they extend their product line in the future and begin to offer new color options.

The company Haitral says that they offer a 90 day guarantee on the mattress, which is excellent if you are going to be using the bed in the near future. I strongly urge you wait until you are about to leave for your road trip before buying, so that the entirety of your excursion is covered by this warranty. Usually if something is to go majorly wrong, it is due to poor manufacturing, and this will become clear in the first night or two of use. With 90 days to test this puppy out, you can’t really go wrong.

The package comes with the bed, inflator pump, and a repair patch, but it does not include a storage and carrying case like the FB sport model does. If this is something that you absolutely need, then I suggest you go with that other brand. Personally, I never end up putting the bed away in a bag, since I use it every night on the road. I just crumple it up and throw it in my trunk until it’s time to use it again.
